Personal information is collected and processed solely for the purpose of facilitating vehicle inspections and verification services between insurers and their clients.
We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Processing is based on the data subject’s explicit consent, which is obtained before information is uploaded to the platform.
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the insurance tenant or authorised party that initiated the verification request, or where required by law.
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil verification requirements and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, or misuse.
In terms of POPIA, data subjects have the right to access their personal information, request correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time.
Where applicable, personal information may be stored or processed using secure cloud infrastructure. Appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure compliance with POPIA.
